Dean Philippe M. Fauchet came to Vanderbilt University in 2012 from the University of Rochester where he was Distinguished Professor and twice Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has written over 400 papers, edited 14 books, given numerous invited presentations at major international conferences, received many research and teaching awards, and has been elected Fellow of five prominent professional engineering societies.
