The threat of climate change is growing. In fact, most scientists believe our climate is already changing and it is only going to get worse. It also is clear that, presently, our federal government is not prepared to take action to address the changing climate. Against this backdrop, Gary Garfield, the former CEO of Bridgestone Americas, a $15 billion multinational company, will discuss the threat of climate change from the perspective of a business executive. Specifically, Garfield will focus on the risks we face and try to answer what, if anything, should companies do to address climate change.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served to those attending the event.

Visitors should park in the Terrace Place Garage, spaces 41-92, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Terrace Place, or the Wesley Place Garage, spaces 52-170, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Scarritt Place.  Parking costs range from $4.00 to $12.00 at these garages.  Both are within walking distance of the law school.
