The Global Health Case Competition is an annual event that all Vanderbilt students can participate in and propose solutions to a current global health problem. All undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in Vanderbilt can participate in the event. This is also a multidisciplinary event, so students from all academic fields and backgrounds are welcome to participate.
Students can participate as part of a full team (4-6 individuals), a partial team (2-3 individuals), or by themselves. For those registering as partial teams or individually, they will be assigned to a team with other individuals or partial teams.
In order to participate in the competition, students must attend the Case Reveal, which will be held in Featheringill Hall Auditorium on Thursday, February 7th from 5PM to 6PM. The competition will take place a week later in the same location on Saturday, February 16th from 8AM to 2PM. The overall winning team will represent Vanderbilt at the 2019 International Global Health Case Competition held at Emory University on March 16-17, 2019 (costs are covered by the Student Advisory Council).
