Please join the Program on Law and Innovation for an engaging lecture by Katrina Lee, a former law firm equity partner and complex litigator in San Francisco and now a full clinical professor.
Professor Lee will share a holistic, and hopeful, perspective on the business of law--one that embraces equally the dollars and cents of law practice; legal technology; lawyer well-being; diversity and inclusiveness; and creativity and curiosity. None should be an afterthought. All will be critical for the success of the next generation of law practitioners. She will take a peek back into the recent 25-year past of law practice and challenge students to contemplate their professional paths well beyond that first job after law school.
Professor Lee has taught at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law since 2011. She writes and speaks on the business of law, negotiation, ethics, legal writing, and the legal profession.
Lunch will be served.
Visitors should park in the Terrace Place Garage, spaces 41-92, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Terrace Place, or the Wesley Place Garage, spaces 52-170, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Scarritt Place. Parking costs range from $4.00 to $12.00 at these garages. Both are within walking distance of the law school.
