Professor Jennifer Jenkins from Duke Law School will be joining the Vanderbilt Intellectual Property Association to give a lunch talk about recent cases in music copyright including the recent "Stairway to Heaven" case (reset for new trial), the "Katy Perry" case (pending) and the "Blurred Lines" case (recently concluded). She is the co-author of Theft! A History of Music, a graphic novel laying out a 2000-year long history of musical borrowing from Plato to rap.
