MUSLIM COLLEGE STUDENTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF LAWS, POLITICS AND RELIGION with SHAFIQA AHMADI, Associate Professor of Clinical Education at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California
Shafiqa Ahmadi, associate professor of clinical education at the Rossier School of Education, and the co-director for the Center for Education, Identity and Social Justice at University of Southern California, will speak Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at 4 p.m. Her talk is titled “Muslim College Students at the Intersection of Laws, Politics and Religion.”
Ahmadi is a lawyer and expert on diversity and legal protection of underrepresented students, including Muslims, bias and hate crimes, and Title IX and gender issues.
Refreshments will be served.
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present for both lectures.
