Mira Gerard is an exceptional artist with interests in feminist theory and Lacanian psychotherapy. Gerard's exhibit Graph of Desire is on display in the Divinity School's Art Room (G-20) through November 12th. The gallery talk for Graph of Desire will take the form of a three-way conversation featuring Mira Gerard and professors Ellen Armour (E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Chair in Feminist Theology and Director of the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality) and Stephanie Budwey (Luce Dean’s Faculty Fellow Assistant Professor of the History and Practice of Christian Worship and the Arts). The conversation will focus on particular works in the exhibit, Gerard's methods, and her scholarly interests beyond art making.
The conversation takes place at noon on Monday, November 12, 2018 in room G-20 (ground floor Divinity). Light food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
