Vanderbilt History Seminar: Nicholas Guyatt, 'The Hated Cage: Race and Belonging in Dartmoor Prison'

The Vanderbilt History Seminar (VHS) will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 3:10pm in the Divinity School Reading Room (124). All talks are based on a pre-circulated paper. 

Our guest will be Nicholas Guyatt (Cambridge University), a historian of colonial America, the Atlantic World, and the United States in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. His pre-circulated paper, entitled "The Hated Cage: Race and Belonging in Dartmoor Prison," will be available in the History Department Office (Benson 227) approximately two weeks before the seminar.
