Guillermo Galindo, composer/performer/visual artist

Self-described “post-Mexican” multi-disciplinary performer Galindo caps off his monthlong residency at Vanderbilt with an evening at the Blair School. Galindo is, among many accolades, one of the commissioned composers in the Kronos Quartet’s Fifty for the Future program, in which Blair will participate in Spring 2019 (in conjunction with OZ Arts Nashville). Kronos says of him: “The extent of the work of experimental composer, sonic architect, performance artist and visual media artist Guillermo Galindo redefines the conventional limits between music, the art of music composition and the intersections between all art disciplines, politics, humanitarian issues, spirituality and social awareness.”

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the West Garage (2500 Children's Way) free of charge.
