A special early-evening program for Family Weekend featuring our collegiate singers and instrumentalists. The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony, then will team with the choir and voice soloists for Leonard Bernstein’s Chichister Psalms, in honor of the composer’s centenary. Faculty tubist Gil Long then joins the wind symphony as featured soloist on Michael Daugherty’s Reflections on the Mississippi.

Presented with gratitude to Martha Ingram for her generous support of the Blair School, made in memory of Kenneth Schermerhorn to honor his 22 years as conductor of the Nashville Symphony

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the West Garage (2500 Children's Way) free of charge.
