Dean Whiteside, director

The popular annual Nashville Sinfonietta program brings together Blair School musicians and their Nashville Symphony colleagues under the baton of Blair alumnus and acclaimed conductor Dean Whiteside. This year’s program includes Whiteside leading the Sinfonietta in Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, a.k.a. the “Great G Minor Symphony”; the Vanderbilt Chorale performing American composer David Conte’s Invocation & Dance, scored for two pianists, percussion, and choir; and pianist Amy Dorfman and Whiteside performing Schubert’s Fantasy in F minor for Piano Four Hands.

This concert is a benefit for the Shade Tree Clinic. Donations will be accepted at the door but are not required. Suggested donation: $15 adults; $5 students.

Parking is available in the West Garage (2500 Children's Way) free of charge.
