Do you have an interest in the brain?
Did you know that stroke affects nearly 800,000 people in the US yearly?
Do you want to learn how neurologists can help treat, manage, and prevent strokes?
The Vanderbilt CiM Neurology Interest Group is proud to announce our new event, a stroke simulation run in partnership with Dr. Zimmerman, block director for BBM, neurology clerkship director, and vascular neurology fellowship director. If you want to learn about stroke and how to treat it, or are just curious about the brain or neurology in general, this event is for you. We will walk through two stroke simulations, with plenty of teaching.
No knowledge of the brain, neuro exam, or stroke management is required. First years are encouraged to attend; the event is open to students in all classes.
