Ellen Krug is a transgender activist, author, and lawyer. In 2009, two months after transitioning from male to female, she became the first attorney in Iowa to engage in jury trials in separate genders. Ellie will be talking about the personal and professional aspects of her transition, the basics of transgender issues, and the ways that we can strive to be more active allies on LGBTQIAA issues.
This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by OUTLaw.
