Join the Vanderbilt International Law Society and speaker Daniel Joyner at the Vanderbilt Law School for an engaging talk on international law.
Daniel Joyner is a professor of law at The University of Alabama. Professor Joyner's research interests are focused in public international law. He has written extensively on international nuclear weapons nonproliferation law and civilian nuclear energy law. He has additionally written on the rights of states in international law, treaty interpretation, international economic sanctions, international use of force law, fragmentation theory, the United Nations Security Council, and international investment law. Professor Joyner will speak about the recently adopted Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served.
Visitors should park in the Terrace Place Garage, spaces 41-92, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Terrace Place, or the Wesley Place Garage, spaces 52-170, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Scarritt Place. Parking costs range from $4.00 to $12.00 at these garages. Both are within walking distance of the law school.
