- Location: Gentry's Farm
The leaves are changing and it's time to pick pumpkins! Visiting a pumpkin patch is a tradition for many families in the United States, and we would love for our international students to share the same experience this fall and celebrate all the harvest season has to offer!
On Saturday, Oct. 21, ISSS and VPB CityVU are co-sponsoring our international students a bus trip to Gentry's Farm located in Franklin, TN. There are limited spots so please RSVP on this Anchor Link as soon as possible--spots are available on a first come, first served basis! Students who have successfully reserved a spot on the bus will receive a confirmation email no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, with more event details along its way, so that you can purchase (credit/debit card or Commodore Cash only) your voucher at the Sarratt Box Office which is located on the bottom floor of the Sarratt Student Center. The cost of the trip is $2 and this pays for the bus ride and your admission ticket into the activity area of the farm--with cornfield maze, tire swings, wagon ride through the farm, and more! All bus vouchers must be picked up in the Sarratt Student Center before 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 21 to get on the bus. ISSS will not have your tickets for you.
All participants must ride the bus to Gentry Farm and back--no personal vehicles allowed if you wish to gain admission at a discounted rate. You are expected to arrive in front of the Student Life Center by 12:45 p.m. to complete a liability waiver prior to getting onto the bus, and the bus will depart from Student Life Center at 1:00 p.m., and will return to campus by 5:30 p.m.
