How do network oscillations relate to efficient coding and cell types?

Anatomical connectivity constrains functional brain connectivity, yet functional connectivity can change dynamically depending on context and sensory inputs. I will show the precise structure of V1 network synchronization depends on image properties, and is governed by predictive relationships among parts of natural scenes. I will discuss how network synchronization relates to the activity and visual coding properties of distinct cell types
