This workshop with presenters Edward Friedman (Spanish/Comparative Literature), Kirsten Mendoza (English), and Cory Duclos (Colgate University), features sessions on the structure, messages, and contexts of Cervantes's novel, Don Quixote. Edward Friedman will offer an overview. Kirsten Mendoza will look at the influence of Don Quixote in England, and Cory Duclos will discuss digital approaches to the novel. The workshop will be geared toward both those who have read Don Quixote and those who would like to prepare themselves to read the novel.
Lunch will be served to registered participants.
