Dear Colleagues,

Vanderbilt’s Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (VU SACNAS) Chapter is excited to invite you to our first Science Café for Fall '17 on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at 5:30pm in SC6333. This month's guest speaker is Dr. Alfredo Gurrola.  He will be discussing the ongoing efforts of the Vanderbilt Higher Energy Physics group to better understand the dominant form of matter in the universe, Dark Matter, using particle colliders. Our Science 
Café is a great opportunity to learn about innovative research on the Vanderbilt campus, ask questions in a friendly atmosphere, and bond with other students that love science!
