Join Vanderbilt Law Professors Paul Edelman, Brian Fitzpatrick, Sara Mayeux, and Karla McKanders as they review some of the major cases before the Supreme Court this year.
Paul Edelman is a professor of law and mathematics, writing articles on judicial decision making, the electoral vote system, and corporations.
Brian Fitzpatrick is a professor of law whose research focuses on class action litigation, federal courts, the Supreme Court, judicial selection and constitutional law. He is a former law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
Sara Mayeux researches and writes on criminal law and procedure, constitutional law, and American legal history.
Karla McKanders is an expert in immigration and refugee law, directs the Immigration Clinic, and teaches Refugee and Immigration Law.
This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served. This annual event is sponsored by the Vanderbilt Program in Law and Government, the American Constitution Society, and the Federalist Society.
