Join the Vanderbilt Intellectual Property Association for a discussion on patent law with Mark Foley, a 2015 VLS graduate who is currently an associate at Maynard, Cooper, and Gale. Mark will speak from experience as a young associate about navigating the job market and beginning a practice as a patent attorney.
Mark Foley's intellectual property practice focuses on assisting clients in resolving allegations of patent and trademark infringement. He also assists clients in the acquisition, protection, and licensing of their intellectual property. Foley also represents financial institutions and insurance companies in a broad range of matters, including shareholder derivative actions and class actions.
This event is free and open to the public; lunch will be served.
Visitors should park in the Terrace Place Garage, spaces 41-92, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Terrace Place, or the Wesley Place Garage, spaces 52-170, at the corner of 21st Ave. South and Scarritt Place. Parking costs range from $4.00 to $12.00 at these garages. Both are within walking distance of the law school.
