Sabor Latino is the largest and final event hosted by VAHS as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. It is a celebration of the diversity of culture, traditions, and cuisine of Latin America and the people who identify with it, including the growing Latin American communities both on campus and in the Nashville metro area. Sabor Latino seeks to expose students to communities of Nashville that they may not be familiar with, and educate them on who they are and what they bring to the Nashville community through a variety of performances by traditional groups of different backgrounds as well as a dinner featuring delicious, traditional authentic food catered by Nashville Latin American restaurants. The evening will also include performances by members of the Vanderbilt student body, as well as games, dancing, raffles, educational booths, karaoke, photobooths, and more! Our goal is to share and celebrate different aspects of Latinx culture and have fun introducing the Vanderbilt community to the Latinx community of Nashville! Viva el sabor Latino!
