- Location: Phi Delta Theta
On Saturday, April 1st, the brothers of Phi Delta Theta will host our Annual Vann Webb Memorial Pig Roast, a benefit that honors the memory of our brother Vann Webb who passed away in his sophomore year at Vanderbilt from a rare form of neuroendocrine cancer.
Vann was an outstanding student and leader on campus. In just two short years of being on campus, most everyone at Vanderbilt and within Phi Delta Theta would agree that greater than his intellect or courage was his enormous heart and personality. He was a loyal brother of our chapter and a tremendous friend that brightened the lives of everyone around him.
The event raises proceeds for the Tennessee Chapter of the ALS Association and supports those with Lou Gehrig's disease in the Middle Tennessee area who cannot afford the care they need. It will be held at the Phi Delta Theta house, where we will enjoy live music, barbecue, a corn hole tournament, drinks, and a roasted pig from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
Come out and help us greatly improve the lives of those with ALS by donating in whatever way possible. Tickets will be available at the Wall later this semester and checks will be graciously accepted at the door of the event itself.
